This is the best-known dog beach on the South Shore, where dogs are allowed off-leash in the water but must be leashed on the beach.
Regan Memorial City Beach, South Lake Tahoe
This beach allows dogs, leashed or unleashed (under voice control), on the east end of the city-owned beach park.
Nevada Beach, Zephyr Cove
This beach is dog-friendly and can be accessed by a mile-long hike from the parking lot on Highway 50 and Kahle Drive.
Zephyr Cove Beach, Zephyr Cove
Dogs are allowed on the rocky area at the north end of this popular beach.
